This year, the UK's Sunday Times presented the results of the Corporate Responsibility Index as a 'Top 100 Companies that Count' ranking.
Premier League for environment
Unilever also ranked very highly in the 8th Business in the Environment (BiE) Index of Corporate Environmental Engagement. This Index compares companies on their environmental management and performance in key impact areas. Our score of 99.9% placed us in the Premier League (a group of 28 companies with an overall score greater than 95%). Unilever continues to lead the Food Producers & Processors sector and remains the only Index participant from its sector in the Premier League.
BITC is an independent business-led organisation working to improve the positive impact of business on society.
