Disposal - on 3 November 2006

Unilever completed the sale of the majority of its frozen food business to Permira Funds for € 1.725 bn. Permira Funds have now assumed ownership of the former Unilever frozen foods operations in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Portugal and United Kingdom. Turnover for the European frozen foods business in 2005 was € 1.237 bn.

Disposal - on 11 July 2005

Unilever completed the sale of its global prestige fragrance business, Unilever Cosmetics International (UCI) to Coty Inc., of the United States. Sales for the global prestige fragrance business for 2004 were in excess of $ 600 m (€ 490 m).

Disposal - on 9 March 2004

Unilever Mexico sold its edible oils and white fats business to a Mexican subsidiary of Associated British Foods plc, for US $ 110 m cash. The deal included Capullo-bottled canola oli, Mazola edible oil and Inca white fat. Together they had sales in Mexico of some US $ 120 m in 2003.

Disposal - in November 2004

Unilever sold Puget Olive Oil in France for a proceed of sales of € 80.5 m including stocks. Puget Oil was sold to Lesieur, the brand generated around 70 m NPS.

Disposal - on 12 December 2004

Unilever signed definitive agreements to sell our frozen pizza business and baguette business to Dr Oetker of Bielefeld, Germany for an undisclosed sum, subject to regulatory approval where required.
