Challenges are what keep me with Unilever
I've been with Unilever for nine years now in Marketing. The challenges keep me here. Every day is a unique challenge. There is a constant challenge both internally and externally, alignment to regional and global agendas, as well as our current economic climate - there are less people eating out.

Variety is the spice of life...
I've been fortunate enough to have had 55 direct reports over eight years, in three different cities, across six sites and in four different functions! Unilever definitely gives you the space to growth and learn.

Where I am now...
My current role sees me working in Foodsolutions which is a business to business marketing organisation within Unilever. We target primarily food service industry. We actually target chefs as opposed to retail where they market to mainly housewives. I love my role and space for creativity I am given which gives me a tremendous amount of personal and career growth.

My proudest moment at Unilever
For Foodsolutions, our challenge is, how do we remain relevant and continue to grow our market share while being cognisant of the tough economic challenges?
There have been incredible team projects over the years, the ones that give me a warm fuzzy feeling are the commissioning of new lines at Maydon Wharf and Boksburg, a massive relaunch of the Dressings category in the US and Canada... most recently, an excellently executed innovation launch for the Desserts category.
